Research Use Policy

VELOR is a laboratory research supply company. All products sold by VELOR are intended solely for laboratory research use by qualified researchers and institutions and are not intended for human or veterinary use. All compounds, reference materials, peptides, consumables, and related products sold through velor.health (collectively, "Products") are sold and distributed solely for in vitro laboratory research, analytical reference, and scientific investigation purposes by qualified researchers and laboratory personnel.

1. Permitted Use

Products may be used solely for:

• In vitro laboratory research conducted in a controlled laboratory environment.
• Analytical and reference standard work performed by qualified scientific personnel.
• Method development, assay validation, and quality control by laboratory professionals.
• Other lawful scientific investigation that does not involve administration to humans or animals.

2. Prohibited Use

You agree that you will not, and will not permit any other person to:

• Administer, ingest, inject, inhale, apply topically, or otherwise introduce any Product into the human body.
• Administer any Product to any animal, including for veterinary, agricultural, or companion-animal purposes.
• Use any Product as, or as a component of, a food, beverage, dietary supplement, cosmetic, drug, or medical device.
• Compound, dispense, prescribe, or formulate any Product for therapeutic, cosmetic, or nutritional purposes.
• Resell, re-label, repackage, or redistribute any Product to consumers, patients, or end users for non-laboratory use.
• Misrepresent the regulatory status or intended use of any Product to any third party.

3. No Medical or Health Claims

Products are not approved, licensed, or authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any other regulatory authority for human or veterinary use. No statement made by VELOR on velor.health, in marketing materials, in scientific literature, in product descriptions, or in customer communications constitutes medical advice or a claim of safety or efficacy for human or veterinary use.

4. Purchaser Representations

By purchasing any Product, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 21 years of age.
• You are acquiring the Product solely for lawful laboratory research purposes as described above.
• You have the training, facilities, and competence to handle, store, and dispose of research chemicals safely and in accordance with applicable laws.
• You will not provide, transfer, or make available the Product to any person who you know or have reason to believe will use it for non-laboratory purposes.
• You will comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the receipt, possession, handling, use, and disposal of the Product in your jurisdiction.

5. Handling, Storage, and Disposal

Products must be handled by trained personnel using appropriate personal protective equipment and laboratory controls. Storage conditions, hazard information, and recommended handling practices are provided on product pages and accompanying documentation where available. Waste must be disposed of in accordance with applicable environmental and laboratory waste regulations.

6. Certificates of Analysis

VELOR provides third-party Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for batches where available. COAs report identity, purity, and related analytical data for the tested lot and are intended for research-use verification. COAs do not represent any approval for human or veterinary use.

7. No Drug, Food, Supplement, or Cosmetic

Products are sold exclusively as laboratory research materials and are not offered, marketed, or distributed by VELOR for human consumption, therapeutic use, veterinary use, dietary supplementation, cosmetic use, or medical use.

VELOR is not a pharmacy, healthcare provider, compounding facility, outsourcing facility, medical practice, or healthcare clinic.

8. Eligibility and Jurisdiction

VELOR ships only within the United States and does not ship to jurisdictions where the sale, possession, or use of any given Product is restricted. VELOR may decline or cancel any order at its discretion, including for suspected non-research use or compliance concerns.

VELOR reserves the right to request additional information regarding the purchaser, institution, intended research application, shipping destination, or order details prior to approving shipment.

Products purchased from VELOR may not be exported, re-exported, or transferred in violation of applicable United States laws and regulations.

9. Acknowledgment at Checkout

Customers are required to acknowledge this Research Use Policy, along with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund Policy, before completing a purchase. Submitting an order constitutes acceptance of all such policies as in effect at the time of order.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VELOR, its affiliates, and their officers, employees, and suppliers from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of this Research Use Policy or any misuse of a Product.

11. Disclaimer

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VELOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OTHER THAN LABORATORY RESEARCH USE AS DESCRIBED IN THIS POLICY. VELOR HAS NO LIABILITY FOR ANY USE OF A PRODUCT OUTSIDE OF SUCH PERMITTED USE.

12. Research Information Disclaimer

Any educational, scientific, analytical, research, or informational content provided on velor.health is offered solely for general research reference purposes.

Such information is not intended as medical advice, treatment guidance, dosing information, clinical instruction, or recommendations for human or veterinary use.

No content on velor.health should be interpreted as encouraging, recommending, or supporting the administration of any product to humans or animals.
